Case for new PC ?

Seems like a lot of us bought a PC recently.

I'd like a case to store it in. Maybe room for a couple of extra items. (Pads etc.)

I know that Coastal had a kit with a carry case with other items in it.

I dont know if you can buy it seperately,

or even if it is the right size for our use.

Anyone have any ideas?

Walt.

Walt I have my case it's new never used it , make me an offer plus shipping , I'm in south NJ so shipping won't be bad.

I have a nice storage box for my PC, pads, backing plates, tools and bonnets. Picked it up at Staples for like $8 bucks.

i just built one which cost me about 5 bucks in all.

I layed everything I may use on a mormal car out. Measures each item and then mixed and matched ways to make the box with those compartments. Turned out to have compartments made for 5 pads, backing plate, handle, PC. and myy most used abrasives in the box.

I have the cubbies set up liek this.... PC by it's self. Wool pad and backing plate together. 4 pads in the center of the box in 1 compartment. Space for four abrasives all together with the handle.

This was all made in bout 2 HRS with wood, screws, and tylenol.

Thanks guys. Good ideas. This gives me somthing to work on.

I think that everything in one box is the way to go.

What kind of a case do you have, detailbarn?

Would it be big enough to hold all the items for the PC?

Anyway I appreciate the info.

Walt

Nice pics, ColaBear. :up

baltic , it's the actual PC case for the sanding kit , it's rpobally the one that CMA has , actually it's the one that Griot's has. It will hold the PC and pads. I look for pictures for you.

I use a medium sized plastic tool box with the tray removed. It can hold my pads and the PC, but the downside is that you have to unscrew the handle to fit it in (it's too wide and I want my PC laying face down). I mainly went this way because so far all my stuff is stored in containers with a handle on top! :D Duffel bags, buckets, etc.

For people in the Mid-West, Menards has a sale on a nice 20" plastic tool box by Plano. Good quality not a cheap thin one. The price is $5.99 - a $5.00 rebate= .99 cents! I picked up 2 today, one for my PC. Bob
