Carson(apostrophe)s scholarship at West Point

I had thought about running, but I got more skeletons in my closet than Bill & Hill, and a lack of tact like Trump, and a temper like Christie.
 
Anybody who listens to mainstream media without doing their own research is foolish. The media has already decided Hillary will be the next president. The only question that remains is...will the sheeple follow?

Vega, Not trying to be a dick but take that garbage off an vet what you post. Politico admitted THEY were the ones who committed the big " NO NO" an posted false allegations about carson. Check your facts bud.

Cnn is a bit more accurate... not to say much.

This is the link to the video where he states he was offered a full scholarship to West Point which is a misnomer. Politco stands by the story while the conservative media runs to his defense. Of course, it is something so the media is loving some excitement since Don has stepped to the background or they are numb already.

I think his comment needed more clarification but I can also see him talking to a person on the inside that said something to effect of, "you've done well, we can get you a scholarship if you're interested...". I'm sure those types of discussions happen. Tell the story often enough and only the high points stand out. That said, he should not have used this as a talking point without the details.
 
Funny, love the technique of throwing TAR on someone. They might be able to clean it off but I'm sure they won't get everything... gotta love the liberal media. I am more of a republican then demo however somethings I stand behind them on, tar and feathering is not one. I still find it Ironic that such a blanketed statement comes in question yet if ANY democrat pulled something seriously it would be quickly dismissed... oh wait, thats right, it has.

The one thing I will bet, no democrat is winning this one, no matter if they are dumping truck load's of tar on the republicans. I think the nation has gotten a bit wiser to the media and their tactics. Personally I find this whole Carson "scandal" ridiculous. The guy said he was offered a scholarship, did he shoot someone, commit infidelity, disparaging remarks to other candidates? Nope. They guy said he was offered a spot at a prestigious college, which, with his record would easily bend over backwards to take him. The guy saved countless lives and wants to make an honest change, yet because he believes in handwork and is a republican ANYTHING he says or does is under laser like scrutiny.

Funny how EVERY single email Hillary sent to an alternate/private server is considered a felony, any normal gov employee would hanged (Literally). So let me guess this right, hundreds of emails, each a felony, wouldn't that mean a life sentence? Oh yeah but it doesn't matter she's a democrat. Snowden will be hunted to the ends of earth for leaking classified data, he did it intentionally yes; did she? leaking, NO but knowingly covering up and putting classified information at risk? YES. Let's not forget about general Petraeus, where's he now for just showing classified data, let along exposing it to the Chinese?

Again, I'm just making simple contrasting points... the media plays Carson's statement as though he killed a child and yet a serious offense to our nation is committed and it's simply dismissed. It's quite sad, if an employee leaked documents that were compromising to my company, they would be fired, if any employee said they were offered a scholarship to Harvard and turned it down, well I'd probably laugh and think the guys just gloating. Just saying....
 
Most people know you can't get a scholarship to a service academy like West Point. As far as I know you have to get letters of recommendation from your congressman and senators from your state and they check your mental health. And I wonder by the way he has answered some questions if he would have passed the mental examination. Although I worked with and for a few "ring knockers", I really don't think the mental part of the examination is too stringent. They need a mental test for those in the running for commander in chief.
