Looks nice, how's VM as far as protection is concerned as a final step product?

First I want to thank all for their compliments......I have been very busy with some odd jobs around the house that I have neglected and I was unable to reply to a few of the questions asked on this thread and for that I also apologize:D

Matt,

VM gives some prety decent protection, especially if it is a garage queen like this C4S.

I was going to use the FMJ as a topper but wanted to see how the VM did alone. The owner was very pleased with the results so that's what really counts:cool:

Thanks,

Anthony

Looks great!

I noticed that you didn't use FMJ on this one. Have you found that FMJ is not to your liking anymore?

I love the FMJ.....and now looking back I wished I would of used it:(

Thanks for the compliment!

C4S

GT2 has side air intakes right before the rear wheels along with a "fixed" rear wing (among other physical characteristics).

Anthony,

Great job. I have couple of questions for you since you seem to detail quite a few Porsches....

One any special prep on the engine cleaning? i.e. cover any specific electronics, etc?

What do you use for leather cleaning and maintaining? I want to keep that very unique interior leather smell that a Porsche has so I don't want an over powering leather condition. Suggestions?

Brian,

The prep for an engine detail is fairly simple on Porsche's as they are basically built to get wet, which is a plus on one side but a bummer if after you detail it it is driven in the rain:mad:

I like to keep the hose nearby, spray the cleaner and then scrub an area, a toothbrush works great as you don't need to cover large areas. Start from the bottom and work your way up and rinse well after cleaning each area. Shouldn't need a great deal of water pressure.

Always clean the surrounding paint work and then seal it as these areas are notorius for water spotting.

For the leather I use Fourstars leather conditioner......BUT..... that will most likely be changing because of a new conditioner I have been testing for "Leathermaster". They have a great cleaner for both protected and analine leathers and a great conditioner, one for analine and one for protected, which leaves the leather looking very natural, no strong odor and non-greasy. Great stuff IMHO:xyxthumbs

It will be available through Top of the Line. They should have it up real soon on their website, if not already. It is a bit on the priceier side but I am reserving it for my garage queens.

Hope thathelps and thank you for the kind words.
