CarPro's Denim orange peel removal pad TESTED....WOW!!!!

I need to know how many pads to do a whole car and how many passes are required to get that result.

I'm definitely ordering some of these.

Guys, if you read my post you would see that I stated the driver's side had been painted, and would be the only area receiving this treatment. I did not do the whole car, therefor I cannot comment on how many one would need to so an entire vehicle.

I would suspect that answer would depend on the size of the vehicle, how soft the paint is, and how severe a case of orange peel the car suffers from.

I did not use a PTG this go around. After doing my research, I was comfortable going in without it.

GTFO! that looks great! How many did you use on the whole job?

Brian, I had to show a couple of your pics with someone asking about our op pads.

Just wanted to say, BRILLIANT work and results!

one pad per 4x4 section...so figure about 15 pads I would say...cars are roughly 16 ft long AVG, 4 sides, etc. obviously a CHEVY truck and a Aston martin vantage will vary.

I recently tried this on my door panel. Removed 60-75% of orange peel with 8 slow passes, but I was using M105 & HD Cut. On the next panel I will use M100 instead and see the results

PS, the HD Cut turned out a little better than M105 for this application. Less product needed, slightly fewer passes for a marginally better finish

You can clean a couple times during use, then switch out. After your done with the car take a toothbrush and a container of water and cleaner. Dip the toothbrush, agitate, repeat, take a spray bottle and flush the face of the pads. Place face down on gg, allow to completely dry.

Point being you want to avoid soaking the adhesive area with cleaner.
