Hey guys,
I got a new 17 Black tahoe and for the last month I`ve been foaming it with Poorboys foam followed by their Super Slicks & WaX wash. I then dry it with a great little microfiber towel and I`m done. The whole thing takes me 20/30 min MAX. The last 2 times I even added PB QD + to try and extend the luster since my work is at the end of a dirt road.
The truck looks awesome when I`m done, and I kid you not, it`s not hard work, their products really do most of the work, hence why I`ve been using their products for years with very very happy results!!!!
Even on my 02 Tahoe with just shy of 200K people still ask me how I kept the paint looking so good. Its PB and their products. AND BTW I dont` work for them or get paid for endorsing their stuff, just a happy customer.
Well today I wanted to test something new and I got a bottle of CarPro Hydro2 lite (already diluted) I followed the instruction and even rinsed the truck with my 1600 psi Ryobi pressure washer. One is supposed to use a bit of forcefull water to rinse off.
At the end of the process, my truck had this film on it that took me almost an extra hour to buff off with my drying microfibers.
What did I miss, was supposed to wax the truck after, or just rinse it and expect a shiny result, because if so, it was far from that. However, after an hour of serious elbow work the truck did come out nice. So all things considered things ended well. But that elbow work sucked. With the PB stuff I`ve been using its rediculous how easy it works and NO elbow work, besides a qucik dry. The Super Slick & Wax Really does make a difference with the hard water marks left when drying the truck.
Here are two images, one with that film residue or hard water marks after rinsing and drying and one image after sweating my a** off buffing the crap out of the truck with a moist microfiber towel.
Sorry site wont let me post direct images so here are the links
