Hi everyone i am very close to purchasing a Mytee dk60 spyder with the auto vac atachment. I am desperate for any pros/cons on this extractor and vacuum. I have done alot of research and pricing and all i need know is some feedback from people who have actually used this equipment. Thanks for the help. I look forward to reading all information.

I have not used Mytee extractors so I can't say. More importantly is the process you use to clean the carpet. The operator's procedures are just as important as good equipment

I've owned the same machine for about 14 months.

Pros:

Both six gallon tanks offer more than enough water and waste capacity to do multiple cars a day.

Water gets HOT with the two in line heaters.

Vacuum has plenty of suction.

Easy to get at components inside extractor for needed repairs.

Long hose so machine can be strategically placed in one spot without having to be rolled around.

Fills and emptys easily. A five gallon bucket fits under waste valve for easy, no spill discharge.

Cons:

When initially spraying water and after just a minute or two of not using the sprayer, there is an annoying delay getting the water hot again resulting in wasted water and time.

A pretty bulky machine that is more geared towards a fixed shop vs a mobile operation.

Pressure relief valve on pump can be finicky resulting in pump not shutting off immediately after spraying.

All in all, I think it's a good machine that has been very dependable and easy to use.

My Aztec does the same thing. I just wanted to mention that. It's not just isolated to the Mytee machine.
