:help:hello to all, i got 3 coats of z5 on my silver merc topped with one coat of harleys carnuba, can anyone tell me how long it will take for the carnuba to be stripped off so i can put another coat of z5 on ?
I don't know if you'll be able to tell...that's why most members here don't top Zaino (due to reapplication issues and looks for some). Did the beading change when you put the 'nuba on (I always get really round small beads from Zaino...but I also get that from good 'nubas, the Zaino beading seems to last longer though)? If your beading changed...you might be able to tell when you're back to Zaino when it goes back to Zaino beading...if it does.

I am thinking you are going to have to use a paint cleaner or AIO and remove both and get back to the bare clear before you can put more Z5 on. While it will only be a few months before the carnauba has lost its ability to protect, there will probably still be some on which would interfer with Z5's bonding. I would recommend putting another layer of wax on or stripping everything off with a cleaner or AIO
