carnauba waxes, what do you prefer?

Souveran for depth and warmth, #16 for crisp clear reflections, and durability. I currently have Souveran x 2/#16 x 1 on my vehicle and love it, I can still see the depth of the Souveran, and the shine and beading of #16 is incredible.

Every wax I've tried has been pretty good, and I've tried a lot of the ones on your list. My least favorite have been the Collinites, but they're still pretty nice.

My most favorite are Souveran Paste and #26 Paste. But, I truly believe that you could give me any sealant or wax and I would be satisfied. They're all a little bit different, but not so different that I couldn't get any of them to look great.

1. S100 - a terrific value, good durability, nice bright shine for a wax. Hardly a diff between this and P21S.

2. Souveran - lots of oils provide a deep rich look. Durability on a par with S100, maybe a little bit better.

Ditto what Bret said. Also the S100 has terrific ease of application. I like the Signature wax also but I find it and Paste Glaz darken the paint a bit which may good in some situations.

Nothing beats Souveran on dark colors in my opinion.

I don't like NXT - fades in 1-2 weeks and I don't even like the look.

Use to love Victoia wax concours, still do really, but a lot of work and I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth the extra work. My fav now is P21s.

I love Pinnacle Signature on my silver car...I've also seen it on a metallic blue BMW and it was awesome. P21S looks great on SilverLexus' ES330.

Must've been Detail City I responded with my favorite carnauba?

I really like #16, Natty's, and Signature, but of the three, #16 is my favorite. Signature looks identical to #16 over Natty's.

1. P21s for my daily driver. It is a fairly easy wax to use, and it has a very nice shine to it. It is a great wax.

2. Zymol Concours (not on your list) for car #1. This is, in my humble opinion, the best wax I have encountered yet. In my long quest for a optimum carnauba, this wax blew away everything I've tried before it. It isn't the easiest wax to use, and it certainly isn't the cheapest wax. However, for me, I was tired of comparing similar waxes and getting fair to good results, so I wanted the best that I could get for the money. Zymol soundly answered. It absolutely is worth the effort and the expense, if you demand a very high quality resolution with brilliant color rendition and depth of shine (in my opinion).

However, I'd recommend to anyone beginning to experience detailing with a carnauba (first if you've decided that carnauba is the medium you want to stick with) to try Mother's California Gold Pure Carnauba Wax System, so as to get a good grip on the essentials of cleaning and waxing your paint. From there, you should be able to judge where you would like to go in terms of your car's finish.

Paste Glaz. Since it's not being produced anymore, I'll have to try some signature series when my jar runs out - it's an unopened jar so it might be a while. :)

My favorites are S100 and Souveran. They are extremely easy to use and really look superb. S100 gives my paint a brighter look, bringing out the metallic a bit more, while Souveran gives a slightly wetter, deeper, darker look.

I love the look of Natty's as well, but found it just a bit harder to apply and buff off.

In no particular order:

Meguiars #16-Absolutely the best value on the market. $12 and you should get an easy 50+ applications. At least. In addition, its appearance rivals more expensive competitors and it is the most durable paste wax I have used.

S100-I don't use it as much as I used to but for a super quick wax job with a wet reflective look, it can't be beat. I can't image a wax that is easier to use.

Natty's Paste-Not quite as easy to use as S100 and not available locally, but it has the wettest look of any carnauba I use. Just outstanding on light colors but not quite as deep on dark colors as Souveran.

Souveran-Just like it says on the container, amazing on reds and blacks. Very deep, rich look and almost as easy to apply and remove as S100. Only problem I have ever had it applying it too thick and a day later, there is some hazing. QD and an MF remove it instantly though.

Carnauba Moose-my favorite liquid carnauba. More durable than I expect and it noticably deepens the color. Great over Vanilla Moose, makes a quick and easy combo on paint in good condition and looks like you spent all day.

Autogeek is running a 2 for 1 special...$39.40 with shipping after your Autopia discount. I have a feeling they are trying to clear out their stock...keep in mind they are 1 of the 2 co-producers.

Sorry to crosspost, but you may not be reading the other thread.

Maybe I'll buy the second jar from you. Only problem is I am getting to the point of not being able to decide on which carnauba to use!

just had a tin of this shipped in?can anyone comment on this carnauba i"ve read some excellent reveiws on this wax but nobody seems to mention it on these forums which makes me wonder, cheap though & Curiosity got the better of me.first post so be gentle:)

Does somebody have this combo?

EX-P + Collinite IS + Nattys?

I'm thinking to try it, but I don't know if I may change the IS for #16, or 476 or something.

My car is metallic black.

My prefered is Nattys, better than blue even in my black car.

Thanks guys !!
