hello, I am new to the forum and I was wondering if someone could please please run a carfax for me because i have just bought a car for the second time from the same man and i was promised that there was nothing wrong except the ignition switch which i replaced. upon driving it home i noticed that it never shifted gears. turns out it is stuck in fail safe mode and has only one forward gear, and in the meantime i lost my job and can hardly afford to keep paying it, all this after just taking 1100 dollars from me on the other lemon i gave him back to get this one. with no credit on the other either. its just not fair and i no money to do anything. after working and working under the hood and on google to learn this car, i have narrowed it down to the transmission control unit has no voltage at all. Now i am at the point where i dont know if there even is one, or if the engine has been changed and this one doesnt fit anymore, it could be a million things. before spending my last dollar trying to guess a carfax might help a lot. thank you for anything you can do. here is the VIN if anyone can use it: JB3XD54B5NY015101 Please pm me if you can help.
