Cardaddy - About 30 minutes south of Atlanta is in the house

Just wanted to introduce myself to the other Georgia boys. Bryan & Jean-Claude, we're neighbors.... sorta'. As I mentioned in the 'welcome' section, you'll normally find me on AGO or MOL, but I finally decided to go ahead and register here as well. Might as well stop lurking.... huh? :eyebrows:

Thanks guys!

As I've said over on AGO, I don't pretend to be on the level of you guys, but I do tend to know more about this (game, hobby, even business) than anyone else I know. (Speaking of friends and family which are NOT forum members.)

Perhaps we can spend some time together one day... non gratis on my part of course. Perhaps under the heading of 'paying it forward'. (on your behalf, certainly not mine) :heelclick: :lol1:

What would be fun is to have a local meet up at Andretti's. We can race some carts and drink some brewski.

Mike... Bryan,

Sorry about not re-replying last week. Got really busy. (That's a good thing!):clap2:

And speaking of busy. So... how long is TOO long to spend on an interior? My beautiful, and VERY LUCKY wife I might add (of 35 years) got to spend the entire weekend with me, working side by side on a Lexus LX470.

Me: Honey, look what I got you for Mothers Day.

Her: What?

Me: Well, you got to spend the ENTIRE weekend working, side by side with ME! Aren't you happy you got to spend so much time with me?

Her: Uh, well during the WEEK I'd rather be working with you SURE. But on the WEEKEND... I think I'd rather be doing something else! :tongue2:

The vehicle belonged to one of my doctors, lives in Lake Spivey. The cream colored leather interior however looked like it's been living at Chucky Cheese!!! :nervous:

Two of us, some quality time together, and a "surgically clean" interior emerged some 6+ hours later.:woot2::clap:

The good part is he paid what it was worth. (Even you'd been happy JC.) ;) Plus I'm getting a number of free out patient laser surgical procedures.:spot

The bad part is the kids will probably screw it up again!:nervous:

After all that, it was just a matter of a quick once over with D151 and a couple coats of 'charged' D156. Did I mention it was black? Typical Toyota/Lexus single stage.
