Car Wash

Recently I've been using Optimum Car Wash and really like it. I was using Meguiar's Gold car wash but the Optimum wash seems to last allot longer and seems slicker.

What is everyone else using?

Right now I am using Super Soap in my Gilmour Foam Gun.

I still use Gold Class Shampoo as well as NXT Generation Car Wash.

I use Deep Crystal Car Wash and some RainX wash for wheels, tires, and wheelwells.

I think Gold Class is the best OTC shampoo though.

Megs Shampoo Plus - Economical, sudsy, good lubricity
p21s PC - Gentle, smells good, wouldn't use on very dirty vehicle
Wolfgang AB - Too expensive, but works good, smells great
Armor All Wash/wax - New stuff, got it for free. Works surprisingly well

I recently bought some RainX Foaming Car Wash, thinking it produces rich amounts of foam.

I was disappointed to say the least.

optimum wash...sudsy, smells great, lil product makes a lot of foam.
eimann fabrik...sudsy. little goes a long way.
blackfire shampoo.... slickness is top notch but pricey

Optimum Car Wash is awesome. And it smells so good, I'd like to invent a mixed drink around it.

:iagree:

I found a couple of 48 oz jugs of GC tucked away at Wally World for 5 bucks. Needed 'em like I need a hole in the head but I just can't pass up a deal.

My alternate had been CG's Citrus Wash n Gloss, still got about a half gallon left when someone sent me a sample of Citrus Wash & Clear. 4000:1 dilution ratio goes a long way, it strips everything totally at lower dilution and even at normal maintenance-wash ratio just seems to clean better than anything I've ever used. The difference can really be felt when both washing and drying. Liked it so much I bought a gallon when someone had it on special with free shipping. Good stuff!

I've got some 3 oz sample bottles laying around if anyone is interested in swapping some OCW and/or DG 901 for either/both PM me.

Please pardon my asking, but is that dilution ratio correct? What ratios are you referring to if I may (thread jack) ask? Thanks!

Jack

Edit. Just did some homework. Never mind...
