Car Shampoo

Wanted to add, if your looking for a soap that will maintain your LSP, McKees 37 POWER WASH is perfect for this. I have used this in the past and it really does a fantastic job while further protecting with real wax in it.

I mainly use Meguiars gold class both in the foam lance (when I want to add some fun to the wash) and in the bucket along with a couple capfuls of ONR. I can pickup Gold Class locally at a number of stores and it has always worked well for me so I have wandered far from it. I do occasionally use Reset. Poorboy`s and Hyperwash will be next on the list.

Experiences differ. I had the opposite from Gold Class: it didn`t clean well and it lacked lubricity. It`s too bad because I can use a good locally available wash. Can`t get Duragloss locally any more afaik

Same here, and the lack of cleaning was a signficant issue as our vehicles get *DIRTY* between washes and I need the shampoo mix to do wheels/wells/undercarriage as well as the body proper.

That`s too bad, everybody seems to like that one, especially for the price.

Any experience using this with on a car that has a ceramic coating? I`m not sure whether that would be couterproductive or it would be helpful.

Duragloss is the only car wash I`ve used for years. I get all of my DG stuff from my neighborhood NAPA, or did a month or so ago. I hope I still can. They usually carry 5 or 6 DG products and can get whatever they don`t carry in a day or 2.

In my locale, Duragloss used to be OTC at some autobody/paint supply stores, might still be (haven`t been in one for a while).

Not LSP safe depending on the LSP, but just used CG Citrus Red both in foam canon and wash bucket today (thanks to the kids for Father`s Day gift). Cleans very well and foams like shaving cream.
