Did you get nailed for duties or taxes and stuff?



I just ordered their PC pad kit and ($20 US to ship!!!!!!! :shocked :angry ) and want to know if i'm going to get a nasty surprise from customs.
 
I just received an order from them yesterday (took about 2 weeks to get here). I order some PC pads and a few other things and I was charged duty but it wasn't too bad. If they shipped with the Undelivered Package Service (more commonly know as UPS) then you could expect some really bad customs fees.



My order was around $200CDN and I paid just under $20 in fees to Canada Post ($5 for paperwork and GST on the shipment). UPS would have easily been double that if not triple.
 
Yah, i refuse to accept anything shipped to me via UPS. The first/last time i got something shipped via UPS, their fees and everything came to almost $100 :shocked
 
On a sidenote, have you found any good detailing hookups in Ottawa?



I've found some of the basics at CT. CMax carries alot of the Meguire's line and can order the 3M stuff but they are pretty expensive unless you run a bodyshop. The Harley dealer will order S100 (but doesn't carry it). Any other places or suggestions to get supplies?
 
I got my s-100 from the harley dealer.



There's a place around the Maitland/Queensway/LaPerriere area that sells the real zymol stuff, but it's otrageously expensive.



I usually get my stuff from CMAX or CT.
 
I didn't know about the Zaino rep... I usually order from Guelph anyways. They only charge $8 for shipping and it is here the next day.

The Ottawa area Zaino rep is Glen, he's located in Stittville. Email is [email protected]. Charges a little more than Mike but you save shipping so it's great if you only need 1 or 2 things.
