Can you put Zaino between Vanilla Moose and Nattys

Just a question. So far I've learned the Vanilla Moose is a glaze/filler.....and its good to top it with either a sealant caranuba wax. I've heard the Natty's can improve the looks on top of a sealant, so why not do VM, then Zaino, then top it with a couple of coats of Nattys?



I should be getting my VM and Nattys this Wednesday, so I've started prepping the Cobra...



I washed with my Z7 car wash

Z18 clay barred the whole car (its sick how smooth it is!)

Buffed with Megs #9 (99.9% swirl free)



....then, when I get my stuff...

VM with PC

then should Zaino then do a couple of coats of Nattys, or skip the Zaino?
 
I've never tried it before but in theory I'd stay away from the Zaino and just go straight to the natty's. Zaino will probably have bonding issues with VM.
 
My $.02 says no. Zaino (and im not a user) needs an oil free surface for proper bonding, I mean you could put it on there, but I wouldnt think you would get the durability (Reason for buying Zaino?)

Other side of the coin? Try it and report back.....

BTW, VM is also a light grade polish.
 
After you buffed with Meg's and removed 99.9% of you swirls, as you stated, you also removed 99.9% of your Zaino!!



I was thinking of doing the same thing last week. I wanted to top my VM with Zaino. But Zaino needs a clean (no wax, and VM has some wax) surface. I didntnt do it, I topped the SSR 2.5 with VM, and then went to EX-P.



I am going to order some Natty's, and in a couple of weeks, do VM + 2xEX-P + Nattys
 
#9 would remove Zaino???? Then I guess ny surface is really prepped for my new process.

yeah, but they dont do the finish justice. I think you would be alot better off just topping the VM with the Natty's. The zaino didnt give near as much depth as the VM + 2xEX-P.

As pictured with 1x EX-P. It looked a lot shinier/deeper after the 2nd coat of EX-P.
