Can you layer a glaze, e.g. Meg's 7?

#7 was never a product that I was able to use with much success, but while I doubt that it "layers", applying a second coat of any product is beneficial to me. It lets me cover any areas that I may have missed with the first application. Probably mostly in my head, but it works for me.

NHBFAN,

I doubt it. Keep in mind that #7 is mostly oils, and therefore doesn't lend its self to layering. Like Charles said, if you want to do it to make sure you have a complete coat, that probably wouldn't hurt, but it won't add anything to the look........... at least in my opinion.

Years ago I would apply the #7 by hand about once a month, my arm still shows permanent damage:D Seriously, now that I have a pc and know how to properly apply the #7, I love it. I think in terms of wetness it is hard to beat. I don't know that I have ever applied two layers of it, but doesn't it actually form a "skin" of oils on the surface? It may layer to some degree, perhaps Mike Phillips could chime in on this one.:mohawk
