Can you guess the make of this car?

I had the FedEx man show up this afternoon. Stud that he is, Steve sent me a couple of the Deluxe Mega-Plush Microfiber polishing cloths(DMT) and one of the highly sought though hard to acquire PoorBoys window decals. I very much appreciate it and look forward to using these soon. Steve, Thank You! I think we should play this game more often. :yay

you are quite welcome..enjoy:)

I had a 302 Boss Mustang. 1 heck of a car. Miss it totaly. A friend of mine totaled it. Luck was none one was hurt except my stang. My first car. My 2nd car was a 1972 Chevelle SS454 with a cowl induction hood and Muncie Rock Crusher Transmission. Bad to the bone. Ran 12.5 seconds bone stock with street tires. I wish I had kept that one. I could get about 150 grand for it in
mint shape.

I had a '69 Red Cougar with black Eliminator (style) factory hood stripes. Was able to pick it up at 2 y/o with a scant 19K miles on the clock. It was stock with a 351, but it was hot...just ask a certain 396 Chevelle that ran with me from Ft. Worth to Dallas late one evening / early one morning (shhhh, don't tell my kids )

The one pictured above appears to be of '67 or '68 vintage. I preferred the head light/tail light configuration of the '69.

Yes, the weekend was a throw back to years gone by...unlike the cars we may have driven, these were never street cars. These were Trans-AM race cars with only a body that resemlbled the street version. They had no interiors, welded doors, no side windows, and racing exhaust systems that were deafening :)
I've had my share of Mustangs , Cougars and Camaros and my favorite , like Mr. Clean, was a 69 Cougar that was one of 7 made. It was considered a showroom demo with almost every rare option offered for that year ...pw, pb, ps, ac, 351 modified cleveland, with true dual stainless steel exhaust, 4 wheel disc, very rare power sun roof, 5 speaker stereo, mag wheels, and probably a couple more things I can't remember

Wow! Yours was optioned out at a much higher level than mine. My engine was (I think) a Cleveland, but could have been a Windsor? No PW, PS. It did have factory air and a dual exhaust. I know the rears were drums. The wheels were "styled steel" wheels. I do know that it was one of the finest interiors (durability wise) of any vehicle I've ever come across. It looked brand new my last day of ownership.

The rarest and coolest option was the power sun roof that slid into the vinyl top ...when we called a dealer to get new cables they told us that the option never existed...an hour later our shop phone rang and the parts manager basically ate his words ...he then did some research through Ford and not only did he find us the cables but more information than we could have possibly thought existed about the car :)
