Can this generator power a Steamer and a Vac?

Guys, I found this Pramac generator Powermate 3,000-Watt Gasoline Powered Portable Generator-PM0103008 at The Home Depot
 
It's 3000w continuous. It's portable and quiet for a good price. The reviews are great. But now can you help me if I can power my Steamer AND my Vac at the same time. So while the steamer is heating up, I can vacuum the interior.
 
My steamer is the Daimer Kleenjet 300CS (120v 13Amps) - 1600W
 
The Vac is a Ridgid 5hp (120v 10Amps) - Aprox. 1400W
 
Is that generator capable of running both?

You should be good to go.  Use good extension cords - not coiled up - and you should be fine.  Also, you're within spec and the vac doesn't draw full load all the time so there's some slack there.

Wondering the same thing but I would also like to use it to keep an inflatable tent blown up and also a heater.

In theory, it can, but it is always better to take a generator with a reserve when it comes to power. In the same situation as with the power supply in the computer, you should take at least 100-150 watts more, and ideally 1.5 times more with the additional load. I`m not sure that it will last long at its maximum rated power. You should get at least 3500 in this case.
