Can this be fixed without replacing panel?

An apartment gate closed on me and bent the panel above the light. I think it's a metal panel, but maybe it's fiberglass... I'm not sure. If metal, can a PDR specialist help at all? Ignore below the light, that's just where the clear bra was ripped, and I haven't gotten around to cleaning up, but there is no body damage there.

Yes. As long as it's metal a PDR person should be able to handle that. If it needs any buffing don't let the PDR guy do it. Save it for a detailer.

I have doubts that a PDR can do more than remove the dent. It appears that the paint film is broken and that is the expensive part of a repair.

Unfortunatley, this isn't a PDR-able repair. Too much deep creasing that cannot be worked out without conventional repair. Is the bumper damaged too??

No, just the side fender. Is the only option to replace the panel? Are you sure a PDR specialist couldn't at least make it a LITTLE better? I have a very difficult paint color that is impossible to match, so replacing it is completely out of the discussion.

Replacement isn't even a consideration. A body man can easily repair that dent via conventional body repair/repaint.

Yes, a little better absolutely. But not anywhere close to perfect. It's up to you?

Again, no need for replacement and no need to blend the door or the hood. The color will be contained within the fender.

Wait. Are we all looking at the same thing? He said "above the light". The area below the light is PPF that has been damaged. The dent is above. I don't see any reason an experienced PDR person shouldn't be able to improve that.

Yes, please trust me there is no body or paint damage below the light. It is an optical illusion due to the clear bra and underlying adhesive looking messy after being torn. I'm going to get the original installer of that bra to clean that part up for me.
