Can SSR1 be used on Stainless and Aluminum?

This Site Rocks!
I have some restaurant equipment with some swirls and scratches in it. I thought I might try SSR1, but it only lists Chrome on the label.

I tried it today on a strip of stainless from an espresso machine. I used SSR1 on half and PB Pro Polish on the other half. They both cleaned the metal well adding shine and reflection, but neither seemed to do anything with the swirls and scratches. This was done by hand however. Maybe there was not enough friction? Maybe SSR2.5 or 3? Can they be used by hand?

Good morning gnev'

Sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday - got busy building a 'go-cart' with my grandson.

Hope to try it on my sink today.

Yes, you can apply 2.5 and 3 by hand.

Rub real hard!!

Crummy pictures.

Anyway, you can take my word. It turned out fantastic.

I used SSR3 with my PC, followed by SSR1 and PPP (all with PC). Took about 20 minutes to clean the sink and 1 hour to try to figure out how to use my camera and post the pics. Didn't do as well with the pics as I did with the cleaning.
