Can Klasse AIO be applied directly over 3M FI-II MP?

Hey folks.

Just cruised over here from Bimmerforums. I've been running a small detailing business for just over two years now, and I'm starting to use some new products that I have questions about. I've been using Klasse AIO and SG for a little over a year and am still completely in love with it, but I'm wondering what I can put it over.

I'm detailing a 2001 Volvo V70 Cross Country for the next two days and it's pretty well trashed. 90,xxx miles and a ton of abuse has made the interior worse than the exterior. I think that 3M Finesse It-II Machine Polish will be enough of an abrasive to take care of the paint, and I'd like to follow that with my usual Klasse AIO/SG application.

Is that do-able? Thanks guys!

After FI-II you won't even really need to use AIO most likely. As you already know, AIO is pretty much just a cleaner. If the paint isn't clean after FI-II then AIO isn't going to help much. You could just skip that step to save time and go right for the SG. I use FI-II all the time and that is how I would do it anyway.

Thanks Showroom!

J - As far as I understand Klasse AIO and SG are acrylic polymers. That would mean that they bond molecularly. That said, the SG molecules wouldn't bond nearly as well to FI-II as they would to AIO, since it's also an acrylic polymer.

At least that's how I understand it...

Ever notice SB's BMW ciggarette lighter? I emailed him about it but alas, he never responded...or hasn't yet. That was a few months ago...everyone over at Bimmerforums is curious as to why the creator chose a BMW lighter...
