Can I use two sealants on one car?

Just curious if this is ok or not. I'm thinking about applying #20 followed by my new bottle of P&S Longevity Sealant. Will there be any bonding issues since they're different products?

it's been mentioned before on here that you'll probably only notice the look of whatever product that is on the top though.

That's true. If you are looking for depth, a sealant + wax + QD is nice.

Indeed it's true, it works great on red

I'm guessing if I do this, I should put the longer lasting of the two on first, right?

I would put the one that last the longest on last so you get the best shine the longest. If you put it on first then the top sealant will parish quicker leaving you only with the one sealant. I would put the longer lasting or better product with best shine on top, but I really dont think it matters that much to tell you the truth.

Don't forget also that when you apply the 2 sealer you'll be stripping most of the first layer .

Yes while you can layer sealants , it won't be 1 + 1 = 2 coats. More like 1.2 layers . I say go with one sealant multiple coats , take some pictures . Then next wekend try the other and compare the pics and feel.

Perhaps Palms89 disagrees with me (and welcome btw), but I would put the Sealant on first, which lasts longer than the Carnauba. If a Sealant can go 6 months, I put Sealant + Carauba each month, and repeat after 3 months.

I think that palms was trying to say you would want to put on the best lasting product on last. For example, Collinite is stated to be long lasting, whereas Nxt may not be as good. You wouldn't apply collinite then Nxt because the durability will be less. You add carnauba last because slealants dont bond with it. This thread is asking if two different sealants can be applied ontop of eachother for either a better look or sealant. I don't think that you will gain much from the #20 as Hawaiianelement said, because some, if not most of it will be removed. Good luck,
