Can a PC remove wet sanding marks?

I tried a search... but no definite answer really came up.



Does the PC (or a Dewalt in my case) have enough power to remove 2000 grit wetsanding marks?



I know It's basically about pad and combo but how fast the pad moves is also a factor.



Any input guys?

With the right pad and compound with the right technique, you can do it. It'll take time, but it can be done.

You might try this link. It seems this can be completed with a PC and good results. Wetsanding I recently did some colorsanding (Meg's UNIGRIT) on my front bumper. Got most of the marring out with DACP and 3M PI2 by hand and terry applicator. (not noticeable unless you get right up on it) I just got some Meg's diamond cut and my Meguiars pad set; Velcro back plate, Wool, Red, Yellow and finishing pads for my PC. I'm thinking of starting with 3M SMR for dark cars with the Red pad first and step it up to DACP if I need to. I doubt if I'll need Diamond cut or if it's even appropriate. Anyway good luck!
