Hi. I have some paint transfer on my vehicle from someone backing into me. Is it possible to remove the paint transfer with a porter cable.

Why buff it when it will wipe off with some solvent/thinner? :think2 You'll only *have* to buff if it's scratched.

Havent you guys ever had paint transfer that nothing would remove? I have and had to resort to a PC and a light cutting pad, took it right off.

Nope! The virgin laquer thinner I have will take just about anything off. Vehicle paint transfer is one of the easiest things to remove. Road paint is the hardest and it *sometimes* comes off with laquer thinner. You should try some. I will remove wax so you'll need to re-seal.

Sometimes you have to post in case a super noob is reading. It would ruin someone's day if they just waxed their car and used this stuff. :rofl

how funny that this thread popped up, i just removed some very bad paint transfer for my boss yesterday on his 03 corolla. i used #80 via polishing pad and a foam applicator (clay really didn't do much), and between going back and forth with the pc and manually using a foam applicator with alot of pressure, it came out...
