Can a Master Blaster be Converted to a Vacuum???

Seems like if you switch the hose to the opposite end and add a vacuum bag it would work.

Does anyone know if this would work?

I just purchased a Vac N Blo, and it seems the only thing needed to convert a Master Blaster would be the detachable end cap that the hose attaches to. I was really impressed with the suction power of the Vac N Blo. It's 4hp design is far better than my Ridged 5hp.

I dont know why you would want an 8 hp vacuum but the idea sounds intriguing...

Would have to find a bag that would fit and then see if the end cap can be coverted to a tube for the hose..

The Master Blaster uses a bigger diameter hose than their awesome vac n blo machines, and I personally like the smaller diameter hose the vac n blo comes with, as its much easier to maneuver around and under vehicle interiors, etc..

As as already been said by EXP Detailing above, I also am very impressed with my long canister hanging Vac N Blo and the staged motor has not ever let me down in getting things out.. The long cloth bag it comes with is so easy to dump and shake clean, occasionally run through the wash...

Good luck with your research !

Doesn't the Master Blaster use the same motor as the Vac N Blo, but just two of them?
I'm figuring, the 8HP would kick A$$, and run any brush attachment like a boss.

Not sure if its the same motor as my long canister vac n blo, but the layout of the canister is wrong to just stick another cover on the motor end with a tube, and find a filter that would fit in the shorter canister..

The 2 switchable motors in the Master Blaster are blowing out from the end of the canister where they are mounted to the tube at the other end of the canister..

A Vacuum has to suck air from the tube at the other end of the canister, through a (in my case), a long cloth bag, to hold the debris., and then through a foam filter, and out through the motor and the tube at that end of the canister..

The Master Blaster cannot do this, easily, I believe, without modifying or reversing the motors in the canister to suck air into them, through a bag, then through a filter, and then through the motors, and out the end of the canister with another tube there to exhaust the air..

Then when you want to use it to Blow, you have to change the set up again, Im thinking...

I get what you are wanting to do and Im sure that if it was possible to do this MetroVac would have probably invented the machine...

If you are in the New York area I believe that is where they are, perhaps you can go by their factory, or call them and ask them about this...

I am sure that they have been asked this a zillion times.. :)

Good luck !
