Like Twista said; it will remove light siwrls and such from softer paint, but I can't see it doing much on Audi, Corvette, etc clear other than to maybe "jewel" the surface.
But then again, I've never used 106FA on Audi, Corvetter, etc, paint.
I've kinda been surprised by the teeth that PO106FA has shown. It really does have some pretty good corrective ability for a light weight polish. And it finishes down very nicely. Almost to PO85RD levels. I've only used it a few times, but it has always been able to get out compounding/wool marks and light swirls. Darn good stuff, really. Greg Nichols and I used it to finish out a Ferrari 360 a few weeks ago with gorgeous results.
I just used 106FA for the first time this week while working on my red 96 Prelude VTEC. It had some light/medium swirls all over the car and the 106FA worked like a charm. I used a Flex with LC's white Kompressor pad and the combo worked bueatifully. It finished down LSP ready without a need for anything else. Just for kicks, I used Wolfgang's Paintwork Polish Enhancer afterwards, but I did not see any noticeable improvement. I would recommend 106FA to anyone who wants a one step swirl remover. Now, if only my M205 would get here from Amazon so I can test it against 106FA.........:chuckle:
i use 106FF as a light swirl remover right after SIP. but if im using it as a 1step polish with the LC white pad, i always seem to follow up with PO85RD. i guess i havent been that lucky with a car having slight swirls with just a 1step with 106FF
