Calling all members who recently bought scangrip lights...

Agreed!! I only do this as a hobby and my cart is close to $700 with the 25% off, knowing I don`t need anything right now. Guess I`ll sleep on it and see how I feel in the morning
i do this as a hobby too!

i need to stay off the the site today, they probably extended the sale, lol

Are you sure your just a hobbyist? I`ve seen some of your work and the amount of details you do

Well, it`s not extended yet....still ends tonight @ midnight.

It`s morning and I still want everything in my cart, probably going to spend the $ I just hope I have buyers remorse.

hey, on the tax sheet this is a hobby ;)

Is it just me or is there no difference.....or is that the point you are making?

That`s the point I was making. It terms of actual light output, you can get similar for far less money. However, the Scangrip shows a more accurate color and can be run off the battery. I like it more then the Husky LED for capturing defects in my before/after pics too, but the high price tag is still hard to swallow for a work light.

Yeah, me too. But I spend $$ like I have a franchise of shops to supply...it`s a `sickness of curiosity`.

yea I bought can coat on a whim because I`ve always been interested in it and it was on sale and 25% off too...I have zero plans for it but I just wanted it, lol

sickness of curiosity, indeed :)

husky led isnt able to reproduce colors correctly, it washes out the machine lines on the wheels.... and the silver became yellow. you wont find all the swirls that way.

the difference is in the detail.

I see the difference in the rims after you pointed it out

I hope you picked up a Sunmatch and Multimatch during the sale.

They are awesome tools.

Not sure if you were talking to me or 512, but I did pick up both...actually got the tripod because of your post. I gotta stop trying to "keep up with the Jones", it`s quite expensive!

So hard to swallow, but 25% off plus left over gift cards do help ease the pain.

I bought a 32oz bottle of HD Adapt just because it was being discontinued and I had never tried it.

I still haven`t tried it.

I just purchased the Multimatch single with tripod from AG. It shipped today actually.

First thing...Do not use it. Charge it first until it`s fully charged.
I use it on the stand (easy to hang), on my cart and hand held.
Let us know your thoughts when you get it.

I planned on a full charge prior to use. Is there an LED light or indicator that will show when it`s fully charged?

On the Multimatch the LED charge indicator light is on the transformer that plugs in the wall (Red = charging - Green = Done)

We`re bringing in some new lights onto Autopia soon :bigups
Also the Multimatch 2 is a bit more expensive than the first gen (around $100-150 more) but we will be getting some in soon for those who were asking :D

$150 MORE? Put me on the waiting list for 2 + the dual tripod. That should only set me back what, about $1,000 lol.

Are you guys bring in the Astro 50SL??? Cause I gotta say the price point for non-professional guys like me is pretty attractive vs the Scangrip Sunmatch @ more than 2X the price... and I`d rather spend my $$$ here!!
