Just wondering if your buffing pad have the car's color transfered onto it?

no,no color was transfered at all.
It seems you got the PC thing down. Did you use AIO on that red truck?
It maybe a new clearcoat over swirls/scratches. This guy may have taken it to a bad shop to shine it up, instead of wet sanding, polishing, they prob just sprayed a clearcoat on for 100 bucks. Ask Him or her.
Try a small section (16"x16") moving the PC as if an "ant" were walking on your car. Apply enough pressure making the pad look a little pressed, but to where the PC is not bogging.
I am not going to give rotary advice because I am just starting out.
