C32 AMG pictures

Hey all,

I finally have some pictures of my detailing work. These were taken around 7PM right after applying Meguiar's #7 and S100 paste wax. I found the finish to look very deep and wet on the first day. About a week later I washed the car and the shine was much brighter and reflective. I took pictures again, but I don't have those yet. You'll be surprised at the difference a few days makes.

Sorry about the quality. They came out pretty blury and somewhat dark. Next time I should take them during the middle of the day. You don't seem much shine.

Okay, by now you're probably sick of seeing this car, but here's a last shot of the interior. I'm not that tall, about 6', but I appreciate how the steering wheel tilts upwards when exiting the vehicle as to not hit my knees.

Justin, great pics!! btw, true Autopians never get sick of well detailed cars. :)

I had a similar experience with P21S. The shine is very glossy, but it gets even glossier one week & one wash after initial application......sorta like a liquid, mercury-like shine.

Hmm, in that case....

I just noticed that the edge of the car tried to hide in this one.

So sorry, just couldn't resist sharing. :nixweiss

the picture of the side is the best out of all of them... i like how you can't tell where the sky ends and the car begins on one part of the profile.

wonderful pics and awesome car! I am a huge MB fan, as you all know :) and absolutely love that car. Is that black or obsidian black, I have never seen and obsidian black MB. But by far that is the BLACKEST benz I have ever seen. Carnuaba really helps MB paint look blacker(MB paint lacks blackness imo). Good job justin, I tried the S100 today on a black vette, STUNNING! :xyxthumbs

Nice car! I've got to get me one of them! ;-)

BTW, mine's still a work in progress. I've got 4 layers of SG and will probably go for 5 to 8 layers. Then I'll use P21S as a bi-weekly topper. I'm still debating whether or not I should add a dozen layers of Platinum on the car before I P21S it. I'm not sure if it will be worth my time. (The car has only seen rain twice so I'm not worried about durability. It's more about protecting my long term investment and giving it a killer shine.) Perhaps I'll make a separate post about whether or not people think it will add anything to my durability or shine.

Ali, the car is flat black.

Tortuga, I'm absolutely sure your silver bullet will look stunning. Will the P21S degrade the Klasse?

Justin,

I haven't tried the P21S yet, but everyone here has told me that adding P21S on top of Klasse should look GREAT. Some Autopians on a separate post said that inserting Platinum in the mix will make it look even better. You know, we silver car owners have to try twice as hard to get half the shine you guys with black cars get!

I'll of course post pictures here and on C32Life when I'm "done".
