Just got my Finish Kare fix!

gallon jug-o-425 and jug-o-146

Should last the summer! :doh

They work great in my Mother's Show Time spray bottles (sorry Mothers) nice even spray and easier to carry. I just stick it under the driver's seat with a zip lock for my poorboys

mega towels.

I haven't used 146 yet. Hope it's as good as 425 has turned out.

I think you'll love the 146. I use it to remove light dust on my black Porsche. Really like all of the FK products.
 
Eventually, when I get rid of the QDs I have now, I will buy a gallon of each as well. Hope you enjoy them.
 
I hopefully have a gallon of 425 and Pink Wax sitting outside my door after I get off work today. I went through my first 32 oz bottle much too quickly. I think I'm using too much--getting too spritz-happy.

How long did it take to get yours? I ordered mine on the 5th and it's supposed to arrive today. Thirteen days seems kinda long, especially considering I'm in Ca. Isn't that where they ship from?
 
I ordered a gallon of 425, pink wax, and FX100. I wish I ordered 146 to try.



I havent received my order yet and I placed it on April 28.

My first shipment was damaged by Fedex. The replacement was shipped on 5/10. It is supposed to be here tomorrow.
 
Hmmmm, I too live in CA and my initial orders were rec'd in 2 days. They ship from AZ. I've talked with them several times on the phone and they're in the midst of "tweaking" some products and introducing some others. I think the demand has kind of caught them off guard. OTOH, waiting a bit probably means you're getting really fresh product?



FK rep told me they've got a swirl remover that's really dynamite in testing right now.
 
I got my FK1 #425 in 2 day's also. I too live in CA. I must say going from #34 to #425 was a big jump. Although I still prefer the smell of the #34 over the #425.
 
What are the differences betweer 146 and 425 that makes one want to get a gallon of each. I go through about 3 gallons of PBs SW a summer.
 
Don't recall the FK site write ups of 425 and 146, but 146 is a bit more of a cleaner type QD from my experience. I really like the stuff. It's also good at removing water spots. As with most FK products, it works in to the finish quite well

425 is like the final touch for me. Sort of encapsulates the car in rubbery coating.

No matter what product I'm applying or if its just washing 425 is the last thing to go on.



well as for 146...

This time a year we have allot of pollen around here and I was using an over the counter quick detailer like Meguiars or Mother's to flood each panel and then wipe off each panel with a waffle weave. I ws doing that every few days in between washes and I was starting to go through the sprays quickly. So the 146 will be used to remove dust,pollen, bugs.

I'll use it to wet the wheels before I wipe off the brake dust.



If the paint looks clean and feels clean I'll add some FX100 'sealant glaze' and once over with 425. Every few weeks I'll clay and pink wax after a wash.

Incidentally, mine arrived today after all. Wow, Pink Wax is a lot bigger than I envisioned! I also received a sample of 146. I love the fact that they give samples!

I have no idea what any of that is for.



I've got a gallon of Optimum No-Rinse on the way. Wondering if this will make my gallon of 146 redundant. Is anyone using ONR as a quick detailer or is too strong for that?



I'm losing my garage to move into a much nicer gated community so I guess ONR and I are going to become buddies.
