Still though, they don't know any better. Best we try and make it known it's unacceptable. Still, the most specialized our expertise and exclusive our knowledge, the better we shall do.

Some of the post I agree with,some I don't on the Waterless Wash. I started distributing Dri - Wash n Guard 10 years ago. I used the products too. I started detailing for money when I was 13, before alot of these new products were even invented.Armor All and Son of a Gun, where the only rubber dressings available then. I'm 52 now and I know better. I have taken alot of training and used the best products and equipment. I still say some customers need to be educated about paint restoration and correction. Using a rotory,polishes,cutting pads etc.Detailing has come leaps and bounds since alot of us started. Finishes have also evolved into more technically advanced clears and colors. Most of what a Detailer learns is from hands on experience,and fellow detailers. If one is so fortunate to know someone who works at one of the big 3 who still has a job,this is a plus. It's never to late to learn,and you are never to old to learn something NEW!

I agree that some are pure crap and best used for such things as the kithcen sink. But others have the proper properties to clean, lubricate and protect the paint, all without harsh chemicals(a read of teh MSDS sheets will confirm.

one of these guys came up to my car at a gas station while i was getting gas and without even asking he sprayed my car, not to mention my car had about a pound of salt per square inch of paint. and he went to wipe and screamed and flipped out i never got so mad at someone. i told him if he ever came close to me ever again i would knock his teeth out. not to mention im 19 and the guy looked 30 years old or more
 
i've only had someone come up to me wanting to show me some wheel protectant. i said no and the guy was pretty cool about it.

if someone tried to touch my paint with their hands let alone a dirty towel or spray some mystery stuff on it..... i think i'd catch a quick case of PTSD
