Bulletproof windshield coating

Opti-Glass is supposed to reduce chipping. IIRC they ran some sort of test program with a car rental company.

I also don't know if that applies to the consumer Opti-Glass, or only Opti-Glass Pro.

just seems like a sealant since it has to be re-applied every four months for a one year coverage. I didn't see any warranty listed because it's so bulletproof either.

I have used rain x, rapell, aqua pel, G1/G2, wolfs, and nanolex

Opti-Glass is by far the best interms of durability and easy of good proof application. Initially some of the others Nonolex and Wolfs are slicker and shed at a lower speeds but they fall off in months and opti-lens keep working for years. I am past 1.5 years (maybe more not sure) and going strong. I love to find the best in class and for ME Opti-Lens it is.

I think clear plex is like a film similar to tint if I am thinking about the product I looked at.

Clearplex is great, but it needs to be changed frequently.

Guys use it at the track and its shot in a day.

Yea, I've heard that as well. I think it's a daily driver solution more then a track imo. Ifyou commute on awful highways its a great solution.
