Bulk tire dressings - 4*, CG, optimum, which?

I'm looking for a decent bulk tire dressing. Preferably one that won't turn tires brown, and one that would last through at least one rain storm. It doesn't need to last for weeks and weeks, but hopefully it can at least make it through one.

I was looking at the 4* pro line Bazooka?, CG's VRP (looks promising), Optimum's tire shine, and maybe any of the Megs detailers line? (All-season, etc.)

Are these any good, and are there anymore that are pretty good as well?

I would like to keep the price no more than $35 for a gallon.

I have only used Optimum, and each time I use it I appreciate it more. The look varies a bit from tire to tire, but I have always been happy with it's appearance. It is medium gloss, on some tires it can be a touch wet looking, or if you want, buff it down a bit to a low gloss appearance. Lasts 1-2 weeks with a bit of rain, and holds it's look decently.

thanks, I'm looking forward to hearing about more products that I'm just not too faimilar with.

I can get Optimum's dressing for $25 for a gallon, so that's a good price.

I still like the sound of VRP from CG, I'm looking forward to hearing about this one.

I have optimum and I like it, but it does attract dust. Hi-Temp Grape is my favorite though, I love it and it smells great. People always comment that they know where I have been b/c of the grape smell.

DING DING!!! I like it more then PB bold-n-bright

For those of you who have Optimum's, is it a spray type dressing? Do you all spray it on the tire and then spread it with an applicator?

Does anyone know about BeautyShine and Technician tire dressings. I can get this on sale locally for about $17 per gallon.

All Season Dressing... Looks great and lasts!

I spray it on an applicator. apply. let sit for 10 min then wipe with an old towel.

This is more of a liquidy gel, right? I feel like this would be a little thicker than Optimum's dressing, which in turn makes me feel like it would last slightly longer.

Since you're in Ohio, you can get TOL Grape Dressing. Absolutely awesome stuff, leaves a great finish, is durable and dirt cheap, but they can't ship it to a lot of states due to VOC laws (OH isn't one of them).

Yes, its not quite a liquid and not quite a gel somewhere in between. I can not compare to the dressing you have mentioned but ASD holds up quite well.

Let us know what you end up getting.
