Building my own carpet extractor

So im in the process of putting together my own extractor, got the pump, heater, connections but i know i will have to connect the suction to a vacuum i already have. i was looking at the mini extractor i have and took it apart to look at the vacuum motor, how would i use one of these in my set-up to get better suction.

ive even thought about buying a cheaper extractor and upgrading the pump and vacuum any ideas, help

Interestes in which direction you ended up going in... Im looking for a new extractor at the moment since my Mytee just died on me. Did you end up building one or buying one off the shelf?

I would definitely get the cheaper extractor and upgrading the prices but then you would also have to worry about fitment and thats where I see things hitting the fan.
