Bugs & Bras

Hi Guys,

I have a new Lexus GS300 which I have been using the Zaino products on. This car is a daily driver and I regularly receive bug bombs. Unfortunately by the time I get home the car is often quite dirty to boot. Should I use QD and risk scratching the paint to remove the bug bombs or ???

Thanks!

If you take care of them the same day you drive the car they should come off easy on a zaino'ed car. If this is the case, I would just use some quick detailer. If you still don't want to wash the car and they are stubborn to remove, you can use a capfull of Z7 wash in a spray bottle and spot clean the area using that and a cotton towel or washmitt, then rinse, and dry, and Z6. Last resort...wash the car.........

I was wondering how you guys remove bug remains off clear bras. I used everything I could think of and those bugs were caked on. Took me almost 30 mins to get MOST, not all, of the remains off the bra. Just wondering what works for everyone.

That could marr up the clear bra quite a bit in most cases, have you used it on a bra yet?

I'd say spray a little bit of stoners tarminator on an MF towel and gently rub the area, I have had good luck with that on film.

Ya I have used it. It took the bugs off really well and it didn't mar up the bra. I was actually supprised as well. I used very light pressure, just enough to keep the sponge on the surface. It had soaked in the soapy water for a long time too. I had also foamed the car with soap which helped break down the bugs.

Long story short I have used it with success but I see where it could create issues

I agree with David the bug sponge can damage clear bra. I have used a bug MF. It is soft mesh and either tarminator or some bug squash.

Thanks everyone for the help. I will look into the PF1. As for the safe scrub, I didn't use it because I was affraid it would marr the bra. When I mean the bugs were on the bra, I mean it was almost embedded. Was like trying to clean tar off the street. Impossible. Anyways I will try out the pf1. Thanks a lot

This is the very reason why I hate my clear bra.
