Bug stains on plastic trim around windshield....any ideas?

Have a 96' maxima with bug stains all over the trim around the windeshield. Scrubbed HARD with AIO and even tried some Menzurna IP to get it off, no luck.



Is the trim permanently stained or do you'all have any ideas how to get it off?

Bug innards are a little acidic and may have etched into the trim. You might also want to try something like mineral sprits because bug innards are in the shelac family and I think that might help if its not etched.
