What is the most bug and bird $hit resistant LSP?



Bird droppings will etch my black paint in a very short period this time of year, and I can't go out hourly to check and clean my truck. Although it will bead for quite a long time, the Zaino I've used seems to be damaged quickly. S100 and LG have not proven to be any better.



Any suggestions would be appreciated.
 
I'm not sure if there is a definitive gage of what's going to provide the most protection. There are also variables in the specific type of bug guts and bird poo the car may encounter.



The only thing you can really do is throughly treat these instances as soon as permissible.
 
i've seem to have good luck using klasse AIO + SGx3 topped with a few applications of meg's #16.



you're experience may differ though. but try what BillD said, treat them as soon as possible. :xyxthumbs
 
Bird stuff, bugs, and tar have a lot of acidity or high alkaline. It needs to be removed no matter what sealant you have on it. Half the dang girl clients I get don't remove bird dropping or bugs and think a detailer can give them back a perfect car, but it can't be done, leave any of that stuff on to long and it can eat CC to primer. If it can eat through CC, it can eat through any sealant you put on.
 
I have several coats of different products, NXT x 2, #16 x 2, OCW x 2 and Natty's Blue and I had two bird bombs on my trunk lid. When I wiped them off, you could see a rainbow pattern in the outline of the crap where it tried to eat through all that wax. Just a little Vanilla Moose and the marks were gone. Obviously, all that wax formed enough of a barrier to prevent damage to the paint. Not sure though if I had let it sit longer if it would have gone all the way through since both piles were pretty dry.



Definitely agree with Burly, regardless of what you have on your car, remove the mess as soon as you notice it.
 
Just had some bird poo dropped onto my car yesterday afternoon. I have AIO, SGX2 and P21S on the car. Sprayed it some Meg's QD and let it sit (wasn't near a hose). Carefully wiped and it came right off in both places. Gave it another shot of QD when it was clean and wiped. No damage that I could see thankfully!



I would recommend the twins and a good 'nuba on top. Like everyone else has said get it off as soon as you can.

I like Meg's #7 and NXT Tech Wax because it leaves a slick oily feel that the stuff doesn't stick to as well, mostly the yellow bee poop we get here that sticks like glue. The problem is you have to keep putting it on every other week to keep that really slick feel and make it easer to wash off the poop and bugs. Nothing I would imagine can actually repel the stuff, feces happens!
 
I always remove it as soon as I can. But when at work as soon as I can is often several hours, which will result in damage especially this time of the year.:(
