Buffer residue haze

In the middle of buffing with the rotary, but I'm having a terrible time removing the dried residue after buffing. I'm using finesse-it, and I can get most of the residue off, but there's still a thin film of buffing residue that I can't get off with water and my microfiber cloth. I can kind of wipe the film off with my finger, but when wiping with the microfiber, it seems to just smear and move around the film residue. I plan on following with Meguiars #3 by hand. Would this remove the film, or just seal it in? Anyone know of any other ways to remove this film? Thanks for the help!
 
didn't have enough light last night so I had to use the flash, but look at the left side of the hood. Can you see the difference?

Yeah, I can tell the difference, and it looks like the same thing I'm experiencing. I'm planning on following up with Meguiars Machine glaze by hand after the Finesse-It. I figure it has just enough cleaning action to get off the residue. Is that the cleaner polish that you used on the left side of the photo? Appreciate the help!
 
How does it compare to the IHG? My burgandy paint is slightly faded and I'm wondering how the Amino UV cleaner would darken the paint. I assume you applied it by hand, or can it be applied by the orbital or rotary?
 
It darkened my paint which I didnt care for I don't think. the color is galactic blue pearl - which looks much lighter under the sun but really dark otherwise. So now it seems darker.



I used a PC and a polishing pad. I think IHG in my case at least is more neutral - just seems to enhance the color which I prefer.



It did the same thing to my girlfriend's burgundy Sienna. It gave it a nice wet look but it seems "darker" to me.



I have posted pictures of both cars elsewhere.
