Geekier site lists the white as finishing pad and autopia lists as polish. What kind of pad is it?

There are two white pads.

There is the polishing pad and a super soft sealant pad. The B&S white pad sold by Cyclo is the super soft one too. I have some.

Most sellers sell the super soft one.

And a little more confusing

Which White, Blue, Yellow. I think they should do some re-coloring. I guess the best way is to refer to the description where they were purchased.

The white 5.5" pad is made of Euro Prepolymer Foam, is firm and is a heavy polishing pad. The Green 5.5" pad is Reticulated Polyester Foam, is softer and is a polishing pad.

The white 4" pad is Reticulated Polyester Foam, very soft and an Ultra Finishing Pad that can be used for applying LSPs.

Phil at Detailer's Domain prints the pad purpose on his B&S pads. I asked him why he did not carry the heavy polishing white and he said there was not a significant difference between the white and green to carry both.

so should I be buying the greens instead of white?

I bought 3 of each and skipped the White because you never know. I just used the green with Collinite 870 (AIO) on fiberglass and then finished with a Red and 885. I may get the White at sometime but what I have seems to work so far.
