Bucket that fits the Grit Guard?

HD buckets (orange, and the more expensive white with padded grip) fit grit guard perfectly all the way to the bottom for me
 
I went to Lowe's and picked up two of the clear 5 gal buckets with the measurements on the side and the foam around the handle -- they were no-go for my grit guards -- narrowed down too much on the bottom. I brought them back and this time brought the grit guard with me -- instead picked up the same buckets but the 3.5 gallon version -- perfect fit.



For what its worth, the 3.5 gallon ones say 'Extended Easy Grip Base' and 'Easy Grip Handle' on the side.

Good call RickNY...we should state clearly that its the Silvery-Grey ones at Lowes that seem to work with the grit guards.

Also, I was thinking of making the "legs" on the grit guards shorter so it sits a little lower so that I dont waste my wash solution. Sounds like a good idea? Any ideas on how to do this?

Lowes makes great 5 gallon buckets for about $2.80 - $3 a piece. My grit guards fit with no issue!!
