Brush for Alacantara

Hi All



Done a search on caring for Alacantara, and need a brush off some kind to remove bits etc, any suggestions?



So far I have just been wiping it over lightly and using my hands to smooth it out so it all lies the same way. Was thinking a soft brush may be usefull?

I've found that using a dry MF towel works well for pulling hair, debris, etc. out of Alacantara.

Groit's used to (I checked the website and couldn't find it, making this a bit academic)a rubber bristle brush that is ideal for this purpose(it's what I use). You could try a boarshair brush or a medium soft upholstery brush

Cheers guys.....I have a rubber type bristled brush for suede shoes? Could this be an option?

Sounds good to me. I use a soft upholstery brush and I have recently had success with a followup wipe with a damp MF towel

As Alcantara's a lot like suede/nubuck I'd give the shoebrush option a go personally - and maybe suede shoe cleaner (foam) if cleaning's needed?
