Brothers Silver 2003 Convertable Vette

Hello all,
My brother is in town from Nashville because my father is having health problems. He came alone so he drove his 2003 Silver Convertable Vette. I am the primary care provider for my dad, and since my Brother is here this weekend I get to go home to my house and have the weekend off. I drove the Vette home to detail it for Lee (brother). Herein is my question, the paint was nice and smooth but I still used the clay bar this morning and am taking a break before I use PPP on the paint before giving it a topper. I have in my arsonal EX-P and P21S but I do not have time to put both on. Durability is not a issue as the Vette sits in a garage. I would like to know which product(sealant or Carnauba Wax) will make the Silver metallic look the best in your experience? I will post some picts when done. Any input would be appreciated.
thanks Paul

I'd do a side by side comparison on a section big enough so you could see a difference if there is one. If there is a difference go with the one you like best. Then polish the section you don't like and cover it with the product of your choice.

I would use EX-P. I prefer the look of a sealant on silver (though I do top sealants with a carnauba) over just a carnauba. Silver is a difficult color to make eye bulging and a carnauba alone has never done it for me, whereas a sealant or sealant + carnauba has.

I'm sorry to hear about your father's health problems :kneel, but bless you for being his caregiver :bigupsl & your brother for coming down to give you some MUCH NEEDED time-off :angel - enjoy it!!

I've only used EX-P on my Mojave Mist CR-V, but I love the finish that it leaves & while you say durability is not an issue, it's still beading after 5 months :) If you have time to put a second coat on after 24 hours, that would be best.

Looking forward to the pics :)

Well thanks to all your input I used the EX-P and it did the trick. Unfortunently by the time I finished the sun had gone behind the trees, so the metallic did not show up as good as it looked in person. I also cleaned the rims and glass with PB'sPP and it made the rims shine like a mirror. All work was done by hand. Just wish I had time for one more coat of EX-P tomorrow.
Nora, thanks for the kind words.
Heres some pictures of the finished product

Sorry to hear about your dad.:( I'm sure your brother's help is a great temporary relief for you. Very nice Vette, I hope the detailing let off a little stress:)
