of having 24 floor mats in one vehicle, just did one with 27!!!!in a oversized rec van. when I started pulling off layer after layer (4 layers) I couldn't believe it. I guess some people will do anything to save their carpet. I bet no one can top that one. :shocked
 
Nope, can't top that. I do have customers who has aftermarket mats over their factory mats, lots have Husky Liners® which really save the carpets when you have kids.

I never saw anything like that in my life , and hope I never do . :chuckle:
 
I never could understand why people do this. Most automobile owners dump there rides after 4 years. There just keeping the carpet nice for the next owner to enjoy.
 
on those agly girls put a bag over her face. no really I would when ordering a car if I had a family I would have rubber mat instead of carpet.

I have a client who has floor mats on the floor mats and real sheepskin seatcovers over the leather interior. He is absolutely anal about his two cars.



When he buys a new car (he keeps them no more than 3 years tops and very low miles) he sells them private sale for a nice chunk of change...which in turn provides the down payment on the next car!
 
Holy crap! I've also seen aftermarket mats over the factory mats, but 27 floor mats!?!? :eek:



I would guess that only the top mats were dirty though right? I hope they didn't just make the mats filthy, then buy a new "layer" to cover up the old dirty mats! :soscared:
 
I think my tops was 17 on a minivan, had like 3 layers, thats not counting the big plastic liner in the back. It really is a pain to clean that many floor mats though. I think it took me just as long to do the mats as the rest of the interior.
