Review: Britemax Leather Max is a Leather and Vinyl Cleaner and Conditioner. The manufacturer states that the product helps you clean, maintain and protect your vehicles leather surfaces. Britemax Leather Max contains mild cleaning agents and a silicone-free formula that penetrates surfaces so not to attract dust and to rehydrate the leather.
Before
The directions are simple:
1. Apply a small amount onto a microfiber applicator and gently rub into the surface.
2. Apply in a thin, even coat.
3. Lightly buff off any excess with a microfiber towel.
After
Conclusion: If you can't see much difference between the two pictures don't feel bad, neither can I. Britemax Leather Max does remove some dirt, either my seats were extremely clean or the cleaner is very, very mild (could be a good thing)and leaves behind a non-greasy feel and a little leather smell. There was very little gloss left behind. I used it on the black plastic behind the seat and it did shine somewhat. I don't know about the penetration qualities of the product. It is my understanding that most leather car seats have a coating over them anyway. I tried this on the leather of my 1993 Cadillac Deville and surprisingly there was no sign of dirt and they have not been cleaned in well over a year (due to back surgery). I can't give this product a rave review. I reviewed three Britemax products and liked the Britemax Degreaser and really liked the Britemax AOI, but there are much better leather cleaners and vinyl protectants on the market. I hope everyone enjoyed the reviews and I thank the good folks at Autopia for giving me the chance to try out new products!:inspector:
