Britemax AOI Max Review
Britemax AOI is an all in one paint polish and protectant designed to be use on new paint or as a second step after compounding. This is a non abrasive AOI that uses chemicals to provide the polishing power. It contains waxes and polymers to impart the shine. Exactly what type of waxes and polymers was not stated by the manufacturer
The test subject was a 2013 Nissan Juke the paint is in good shape with some staining from the pecan tree in our front yard. The car belongs to my wife. It is not well taken care of (due to my recent back surgery and recovery and the fact my wife thinks I spend way too much on detailing products J).
The prep work was washing with my foam gun using Meguire’s D111 Shampoo Plus and drying with Chemical Guys After Wash.
Before application of Britemax AOI Max (paint is dull, but clean).
After application and removal of Britemax AOI Max (you can see the sharper reflection. It was a grey day and rained about 6 hours later).
The application process is straight forward:
Conclusions: This is a keeper! Britemax AOI Max removed the surface stains and brightened the paint. It was easy on and easy off with no dusting. This AOI, being a chemical instead of an abrasive polish will allow you to save many microns of precious paint or clearcoat. I have used many AOIs (Wolfgang, Chemical Guys, Menzerma, and Klasse) and on good paint I prefer to use a chemical AOI such a Klasse. I do not expect much protection, but for those professionals that are trying to cut down on cost and time and give your customer a great shine this is one to put in your arsenal. For the non pro this is perfect to give your car a touch up between yearly all out three step details. Just do not expect severe defect removal as this is more of a paint cleaner. After use I suggest laying down a nice coat of wax or sealant.

The application process is straight forward:
- Use on a surface that is clean, dry, and cool to the touch.
- Apply liberally to a light polishing pad.
- Apply with a buffer using moderate pressure over a small section.
- Allow to dry to a haze, then buff using a microfiber towel.
