thanks everyone - bmw paint is hard. I used the FK1 yellow pad which isn't as aggressive as lc's. It needed it. It was the original OHC. I received my new order from Danase earlier this week and I worked on the X5 last friday.



the black M3 I worked on wednesday laughed at the new OHC/yellow LC pad. Had to do many passes per panel. :(
 
Super job on the Bimmer! I recently did a silver X5 with 65/k on the odometer. Had to wet sand some serious scratches, then compound with the rotary.



Here's a shot of an M Series 540i that I am finished up with the exterior today.

You're right about the paint of some of these BMW's! That's all I do for this shop and sometimes I compound until the sheet metal pops from the heat!

Good job tdekany!

The car had some bad swirls because I use the car wash most the time for that car,

the washing is done by hand but still they use the same mitt on different cars which

the results will definitely be swirls if not worse!



Good job again and Be ready for a revisit for both cars soon :goodjob
