This customer got a hold of me through this forum and was emailing back and forth about this detail for a good 2 weeks. He asked a lot of good questions and was pleased to know that I do the work he's looking for. He asked if he should have the dealership do any work to the car and I instantly replied to "Don't even let them wash it. I'll take the shipping stickers off, if I need to!" Well he told the dealership the exact same thing, but they didn't listen. It came to me at night so I couldn't really tell the amount of work needed. I got started on this thing in the morning and it was very glossy! no real defects, but than I started washing it. It beaded off really well, which means only one thing, the dealership didn't listen to the customer. I had to do 5 dawn washes to strip the wax and or glaze they put on the car. I used a brand new Griot's Wash mit. Well enough of the story here's the process and pics.

Exterior Only Detail!

Some people may say that I took too many stages to polish, but I thought it would be the best finish for the car and best correction. I feel the customer was very satisfied with the finish. I finished with 95% correction without comprimising the clearcoat too much.

Polish w/Flex 3403VRG Rotary

LC Cyan- SIP at speed 2 w/ about 15lbs pressure than lightened up after polish broke down and stopped till a clear film of polish was left

LC White- SIP at speed 2 w/ about 15lbs pressure than lightened up after polish broke down and stopped till a clear film of polish was left

LC Black- PO85U at speed 2 w/ about 10lbs pressure than lightened up after polish broke down and stopped till a clear film of polish was left

LC Blue- PO85RD at speed 2 1/2 w/ no pressure

Applied Menzerna Glaze with LC CCS Blue pad and PC7424XP at speed 5

Toppings-

4 layers of BFWD with about 12 hours of cure time (customer was out of town and left the car with me for almost a week so I tested something new) applied with PC7424XP and LC Red pad

BFWD tire gel on tires

Griot's BOS wax on wheels

Black trim was treated with 303 Aerospace

This goes to show how new the car was
