I did the interior of the wifes Explorer today and I would not ever be without my Wolfgang finger pockets these really make the job faster and easier.:bigups

This is one item that seems to get overlooked and if you try them you will be hooked you can do places like in the door handle area so much better and faster than with a rag or foam applicator.

I . Finger Pockets

Can I wax the cars with them?:D.:passout:
ABSOLUTELY
Wash them just like you would a foam applicator
They are great for waxing wheels.
I have been using them for 3 years and I believe this is a overlooked product that should be in ever details box of supplies. :rockon

Kinda off on a tangent, but......

Would cutting a slot in the side of the small yellow foam applicators work as a cheap alternative?
You know the ones I mean, the ones you flip across the room occasionally. :)
As I remember, they seem to be two pieces stuck together on the edges.
Obviously not as nice as finger pockets, but cheap and a way to use the extra applicators I have around.

Any pressure and those would probably split.

I'm not sure that it would be very thick after you hollow it out enough to put three fingers in it.

The finger pocket is made from high density foam and rather thick.

First time I looked at these on the web I thought it was too much for a small piece of foam and still think they are over priced for no more than their is to them.
After ordering them and using them I ordered more of them. :yikes:
I use them for the interior and outside trim and waxing wheels, chrome grill where space is sometimes small and you can use them for waxing the exterior paint if you like.
Next time you order polish or LSP get a pack of them and give them a try.
If anyone don't know what I'm talking about here is a link to them.

Wolfgang Finger Pockets <i>are soft, dense foam pockets that fit over your fingers for easy and efficient cleaning.

These seem interesting. I look at the AG ad and I do not know if I would use them on chrome. They would do the job fine but when I polish chrome the towels get dirty and it never seems to wash out.

What I need is a better way to apply dressings to trim, etc without it getting on to paint especially trim restorers. This may help. It seems better than a finger in a towel since the towel sometimes with product transfers in places you do not want it.

I have some and so far I've only used them for applying PB Wheel Sealant. I never thought of using one for the interior. I'll have to give that a try!

While you need to be careful because you can get it were you don't want I think these do help in that regard.
A big rag flopping around in your hand seams really awkward after using these.
I got mine really dirty and I hand washed them and they look like new.

The mothers power ball turns black while polishing aluminum and it washes clean so while I have not used my finger pockets on anything that would get them that dirty I think they would come clean
.
Cotton towel becomes stained but with the foam the dirt is released when hand washed with dawn
