Bought to tackle a used car with some paint issues

I just recently bought a used 2001 black ford lightning and overall the paint isn't too bad for a 12 year truck but it does have some light scratches, and possibly some light oxidation/fading on some panels and some touch up paint in some areas. Since this a daily driver, I know a daily driver lightning, I am needing some advice on a full detail to protect from the elements 24/7 since I already have a garage queen. I want to do something pretty effective until I have enough money to do a full correction. So far this is what I plan on doing...I don't have a DA or rotary.

Optimum Car Wash

Clay

HD Polish

Wipe down with Alcohol

Opti-coat

I have never done opti coat before but heard its great for a DD. If not I will do:

Optimum Car Wash

HD polish

ClearKote Glaze

Any suggestions I may be missing or tips!!

Thanks
