Bought a new car

Yeah, it was a sad morning as I drove to work knowing that it is the last time the teggy will drive out of my garage. I've had a long talk with the car and I think it understands that I don't have anything against it, but its time for a change. I thanked it for the wins at show and for driving us to the hospital at 120+ mph speeds the night my son was born. (you guys only think I'm joking) I took the stereo out last night and cleaned out all my personal stuff inside. I'm not even going to do it the dishonor of taking the TI banner off the windshield. I was proud to drive that car every day and it never disappointed me. I hope that the next owner loves it as much as I did. Hopefully they will bring it to me to detail once in awhile.

They SHOULD bring it to you for a detail.

Did you sell it privately? Get what you wanted for it?

When is the new one due in? When will it be detailed :D?

Well, ironically enough I traded it in simply because the dealer asked me what I was going to sell it for and that is what they gave me. I don't know if I should have asked for more or what, but I got what I got and that works for me. My plan was to sell it for $500 more than they gave me, but I was going to include my summer wheels, bra, a few accessories and spare parts, etc. with it. They gave me 9500 for it and that works for me.

I'm heading out the door as we speak to go pick it up. Think of me in about an hour zipping down the freeway in it. :naughty The Fuzz has nothing on the smoothness of that car. ;) (word on the street is that Charles still has the axe, so I'm safe saying that)

Its snowing pretty heavy outside right now, so a real detail is going to have to wait. I think I'm just going to debadge it and RainX the windows tonight and then wait till Saturday to get on it. I'm out of Wolfgang right now so it will probably just get UPP till I get around to ordering more. boy, that car sure is fun. :naughty It was tough saying goodbye to the teg, but I gave it a hug and told it that I'll see it in that big garage up in the sky someday. :angel lol

I did get to hook up with another tegger right before the end. I traded him my ITR bar for his stock GSR bar. No sense in letting the ITR bar go with the car when the stock one is just fine. I always like to hook teggers up. He has an 01 red GSR and he said I can use it for me demo car at our spring detailing event in March. I love demonstrating on red because there is always such a dramatic difference on cars that haven't been clayed or polished before. I've never really been able to effectively demonstrate anything on my own cars because of their color, so this was a fortunate meeting. We wouldn't have hooked up if I hadn't posted that I'd trade straight across.

Agreed on the red comment ;).

Any more teg parts available?

Send me your info, I'll send you some Wolfgang Priority shipped. I have a bunch :)
