Boost The Performance Of Almost Any Liquid Wax or Paint Sealant with POLYCHARGER!

Todd@RUPES

Just a regular guy
Polycharger Wax Booster is an additive that you can add to your favorite liquid car wax, synthetic paint sealant, spray sealant, detail spray, or even waterless/rinseless car wash to increase their performance!

opening.jpg

Polycharger Wax Booster is supercharged polymer and bonding agent that is so powerful that it must be added separately to the product. It forms a powerful bond to your paint while assisting the wax/sealants bonding ability. Your liquid wax/sealant will adhere to your paint and itself better resulting a more intense shine that lasts longer.

Polycharger comes in a neatly folded cardboard box.

2.jpg

Everything is neatly packed inside the box.

3.jpg

A mixing sheet, which shows the type of Polycharger and the dilution, is included.

4.jpg

As is a pamphlet that details the differences in Polycharger and how it works.

Included with Polycharger Wax Booster Combo Kit

  • 2 Mixing Bottles
  • 2 Plungers
  • 1 2 oz Bottle of Polycharger CH2
  • 1 2 oz Bottle of Polycharger H2O
  • Dosing Sheet
  • Pamphlet

You can also purchase the different types of Polycharger separately.

Polycharger CH2 - Use CH2 with solvent based products which includes most liquid waxes or liquid paint sealants.

Polychager H2O- Use H2O with water based products which includes most spray sealants, quick detailers, and waterless/rinseless washes.

Boosting Liquid Waxes and Paint Sealants

Use CH2 with liquid waxes and paint sealants (including all-in-ones).

6.jpg

Mixing Instructions (for most paint sealants/liquid waxes/all-in-ones):

You will need the sealant, in this case Menzerna Powerlock, as well as Polychager CH2, and the included dosing plunger and mixing bottle.

7.jpg

The mixing instructions call for most popular liquid waxes and sealants to receive 2 doses per 1 ounce. First add the proper amount of sealant to the mixing bottle. The bottle is labeled for easy measuring.

8.jpg

Next use the dosing plunger to draw up a dose. A dose of Polycharger is approximately half of the plunger, as shown in the picture below.

9.jpg

Add it to the sealant in the mixing bottle.

11.jpg

Shake the mixing bottle until the Polychager CH2 is evenly mixed with the Menzerna Powerlock (or your choice of sealant/wax)

13.jpg

Now you are ready to apply as directed by the manufacturer!

Note: Once mixed with Polycharger the shelf life of the product is greatly reduced. The exclusive curing accelerant in Polycharger Wax Booster causes the wax/sealant to begin curing almost immediately. After 48 hours, most products will thicken to a level that they are no longer usable.

Boosting Spray Waxes/Sealants/Detailers & Rinseless/Waterless Washes

Use Polychager H20 to boost spray products and rinseless/washless waxes.

14.jpg

Mixing Instructions (Spray Products):

You will need the spray, in this case Chemical Guys V7, as well as Polycharger H2O, and the included dosing plunger. You do not need the mixing bottle as you can add H20 directly to the spray bottle.

The directions call for 1 dose per 4 ounces of most popular spray products (with the exceptions of Zaino Z6 which calls for 1.5 doses).

Chemcial Guys V7 has 16 ounces of product, which needs 4 doses.

15.jpg

Remember that 1/2 the plunger equals 1 dose. Add the appropriate amount to your favorite spray detailers, waxes, and sealants.

16.jpg

17.jpg

Shake well to mix it up.

18.jpg

Note: Mixing H20 with Spray Products does not decrease the shelf life. Your boosted product will be ready to go.

Mixing with a Waterless Wash Products & Rinseless Wash Products.

For Waterless Wash Products- Mix according to the instructions above.
For Rinseless Wash Products- Mix in a dilution of 1 dose per 8 ounces of product. You can add directly to the solution or mix a small drop in with your wash bucket when you are preparing the solution.

19.jpg

Cleaning The Mixing Bottle & Storage.

Always keep the vials of Polycharger sealed and limit exposure to the air. Each dosing plunger features a gasket ring and can be used to seal the Polychager when not in use.

A strong dilution of All Purpose Cleaner can be used to clean the mixing bottles after use (provided the product has not cured inside the bottle). Add the APC to the bottle, along with water, and shake. Pour out solution and continue until the bottle is clean.

21.jpg

Make sure to seal the Polychager's caps (or plungers) tightly.

I prefer to squeeze the plunger's nipple prior to installing and screwing it on. In theory, releasing the nipple after the plunger is screwed on should create a vacuum and draw some product into the plunger, limiting air exposure.

Store in an area with out temperature extremes for maximum shelf life.

Great write up on the PolyCharger Todd, a great must have to boost your product to the next level and it doesn't matter which one your using.:autopia:

I have used Polycharger a few times. It works as advertised. It does change the hazing process on products I tried. It almost hazed as I spread it.

Question around the Polycharger. I am interested in getting the H20 Polycharger for Klasse AIO and SG. If I Polycharge Klasse SG, will I be able to add another layer, or top with something right away, or would I need to wait 12 hours for the Polycharged SG to cure?

This product looks very promising. If i end up winning this I might have to buy some BlackFire Total Polish& Seal to try it out. Could I use this in my waterless wash and sealant in the same detail?

Yes but you want to use the recommended type.

In theory it should speed up the 'curing' process dramatically. That said, I would still wait as long as you can since there is no official recommendation.

since winning the kit, I'm definitely going to polycharge some ONR which I'm very excited about trying and I have some WG DGPS 3.0 that appears on the list. I'll double check just to make sure I don't have any of the other qualifying sealants.

Hey Todd, looking for the recommended WW or RW products - what's in the kit you sent is only the list of the approved wax/sealants, no waterless wash or rinseless wash products. They suggested going to www.polycharger.com for a complete list, but....website doesn't seem to exist. I have regular ONR I want to test as well - would that be 1 dose for 4 oz of product per your review?

The review states 1 dose per 8 oz of product. Given that ONR requires 2 oz for a 4 gallon wash, that would be 1/4 dose, or 1/8th the plunger ;) :bigups

Actually I use ONR as a waterless wash product and spoke to Dr. G about how best to dilute. On his recommendation, I'm using 12 oz or ONR to one gallon of distilled water. Assuming I want to create 32 oz of ONR w/polycharger, would 4 doses of polycharger be correct?

Also, do u have the link to the polycharger website? Thanks

Todd, did you realize your photobucket pics are no longer rendering due to bandwidth issues?
